When uploading a photo, you retain your ownership and copyright of the photo.
Photos are optional but once uploaded won't be removed from the record unless they are replaced with another photo of the same snake.
This site can place a visible copyright notice on the image if you choose to set it in My Account. (You can remove or change the copyright notice at any time without damaging the image.)
By uploading a photo, you permanently grant limited rights to HerpRegistry and Lampro Lines to publish the photo in context. Specifically this means that Lampro Lines may display the photo on lamprolines.com or printed certificates, as part of the registry record of this snake, and also in pedigrees of its progeny, or other family members such as uncles, cousins, etc.
Lampro Lines will only display this photo to directly represent the individual snake it was uploaded for. (We will not use photos to publish a coffee table book or calendar, etc.)
When records are transferred, the new owner of the record may choose to leave the photo as part of the record, but the copyright still belongs to the person who uploaded the photo. If the owner of the photo is using the copyright notice feature, it will still appear as intended on photos, regardless of who owns the animal.
Once a record is entered, it is permanent. Lampro Lines will never charge a fee to keep the record in the database, or to display the record on the website.
The private Email address entered by users to sign up will not be released to anyone. It will only be used for automated emails generated by events such as record transfers and someone adding offspring to one of your snakes, and occasional announcements by the admin about new site features.
Your "Real Name" will be visible to anyone viewing the map and any logged in members viewing the user list. The information you enter for your public contact info is completely optional and can be seen by anyone viewing the map and any logged in members viewing the user list. You can change or remove this information at any time through the My Account menu button. The purpose of these fields is so that potential customers can find out how to contact you, so put information for whichever way(s) you prefer to be contacted.
Third party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to your website.
